Grant McLennan

Because the co-founder of Australia’s beloved cult band the Go-Betweens, Give McLennan established himself among the best possible & most effervescent songwriters in contemporary pop music, a standing up his subsequent solo career did little to improve. Born in Rock and roll Hampton on Feb 12, 1958, McLennan was going to Brisbane University through the middle-’70s when he and fellow college student Robert Forster made a decision to route their shared devotion for punk and ’60s folk right into a music group; dubbing themselves the Go-Betweens, they released some singles before documenting their debut LP, Send Me a Lullaby, in 1982. The Go-Betweens reunited once again in 2000 and appreciated an innovative and critically acclaimed streak that lasted for four albums along with a concert Dvd movie. ON, MAY 6, 2006, McLennan passed away at his house in Brisbane at age group 48.
