As Grandson, Jordan Benjamin combines bluesy hard rock and roll guitars, trap-influenced beats, and lyrics about the hardships of everyday existence. Benjamin was created in Englewood, NJ, but he was raised in Toronto inside a musical family members, and grew up on classic rock and roll, hip-hop, dancehall, and additional styles. After teaching himself to try out electric guitar and piano, he began beatboxing and freestyle rapping, and started documenting demos of music while students at McGill School in Montreal. Benjamin relocated to LA and done tracks with manufacturers Kevin Hissink and HighxLand, as well as the one “Expenses” premiered in Sept of 2016.
