Grand Magus

A hard-hitting Swedish “doom blues” clothing, the seed products for Grand Magus were sewn when Janne (guitar/vocals), Fox (bass), and Iggy (drums) started playing collectively as Smack within their local Stockholm circa 1996. By 1999, fresh drummer Trisse experienced became a member of up and several well-received three-song demos confident the band to visit pro and adopt a fresh name in the entire year 2000. Their choice, Grand Magus, was in fact much more fitted making use of their sonic identification, which contains both ’70s hard rock and roll and stoner rock and roll affects and drew the eye of GO ABOVE label manager Lee Dorrian.
