Called after a river in vocalist/guitarist Christopher Pearson’s house condition of Oregon, New Influx/post-punk revivalists Gran Ronde got their begin in 2004. Located in LA, Pearson, Bryan Hobbs (bass), Fernando Sanchez (drums) and Neil Parek (acoustic guitar) performed at SXSW in March 2008 and released their debut recording, Secret Areas, on Filtration system US Recordings the same 12 months.
