Mixing that electro thump using the sample-heavy boom-bap of hip-hop, DJ/maker Gramatik was created in Portoroz, Slovenia, but he always appeared destined for Brooklyn. It had been a mature sister with a big cassette collection who flipped the youthful Gramatik to tapes of funk, jazz, R&B, and additional genres that normally lent themselves to dancefloors.
