Graham Repulski

Graham Repulski is a prolific lo-fi songwriter located in Philadelphia but originally from Ridgefield Recreation area, NJ. Everything about his brief, trebly music recalls middle-’90s Led by Voices, through the surrealist lyrics/game titles and collage-like artwork to his penchant for burying extremely catchy melodies in heavy levels of tape hiss, and undoubtedly his prodigious result. Nevertheless, his music will go beyond simple worship, frequently tipping further in to the avant-garde with daring tape tests. Repulski have been in a variety of indie rock tasks through the 2000s, along with his music group Von Hayes liberating full-length Evident Eyelid and EP Quartered Plenty for the Umbrella Soldier on Condition Capital Information in 2008. Following the music group fizzled, he started issuing single CDs and cassettes, mainly on his aptly called Shorter Recordings, you start with 2010’s Guy Pop. A lot of his produces were perfected by GbV associate Todd Tobias. Full-lengths Electric powered Worrier and Into an Pet Together adopted in 2011, and Big College Information released his EP My Color Is usually Crimson (2011) and LP Cop Artwork (2013). 2014’s Lightweight Grindhouse was released by Expect the Tape Deck, and Rok Lok Information dealt with the cassette launch of Achievement Racist in 2015 (released on Compact disc by Shorter Recordings). In 2016, Repulski released the triple-cassette package Re-Arranged at Resort Strange/Contaminated Guy/Boy Lung.
