British alt-rock outfit Graffiti6 were shaped in 2008 across the talents of singer/songwriter Jamie Scott and writer/producer and DJ Tommy D. Scott, who found prominence as the frontman for Jamie Scott & the city, and Tommy D, who spent some time working with everyone from Best Said Fred to Kanye Western, focus on a heady, upbeat mixture of soulful electro-pop that falls someplace among the Beta Music group, Morcheeba, and Gnarls Barkley. The group’s self-described “psychedelic North soul” first made an appearance in ’09 2009 using the monitor “Stare in to the Sunlight,” followed this year 2010 from the EP Rock in My Center as well as the full-length Colours.
