Goudie

Glam rock offers another millennial encounter in the Tx alternative rock and roll four-piece called Goudie. Agreed upon to Lars Ulrich’s Music Business label, Goudie spans an eclectic spectral range of musical affects that compose the original throw from the music group. Frontman Johnny Goudie, guitarist Jimmy Messer, bassist Einar, and drummer Costs Lefler all cite a cluster of musical passions, including Kiss, Bob Dylan, the Pretenders, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Oingo Boingo’s Danny Elfman. Such variety showcases the band’s rollicking brash audio and creative make-up on the debut record, Peep Present, released in July 2000. The record includes cooperation credits with Wire Train’s Kevin Hunter, Go-Go’s guitarist Jane Wiedlin, and visitor vocals from vocalist/songwriter Aimee Mann.
