Gospel Music Workshop of America

Founded in 1967 by Rev. Wayne Cleveland, the Gospel Music Workshop of America can be an annual convention combining enthusiasts of gospel from America, the uk, Africa as well as the Caribbean, varying across faiths as varied as Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Catholic and Mormon. Having a regular membership numbering in the thousands, the GMWA offers recorded a large number of albums (for Savoy, Intersound, Benson and A&M) highlighting convention-wide mass choirs and even more specialized units.
