Goodness

Seattle-based alternative rock-band Goodness was shaped in middle-1994 by ex-Hammerbox vocalist Carrie Akre, guitarists Danny Newcomb and Garth Reeves, bassist Fiia McGann, and drummer Chris Friel. After gaining a thriving enthusiast following through the entire northwest, Goodness separately released their self-titled debut LP in 1995; the group agreed upon to Atlantic’s Lava imprint immediately after, producing their label debut over the Schoolhouse Rock and roll! Stones compilation. (A reissue from the Goodness record followed immediately after.) After self-releasing Five Melody E.P. in past due 1997, the group jumped to Epic, where Anthem made an appearance a year afterwards.
