Goodman Revival

Shaped in 2013, the Tennessee-based trio Goodman Revival is certainly a contemporary revival from the famed family Southern gospel group the Happy Goodman Family members. Tanya Goodman-Sykes, a genuine Goodman Relative and daughter from the group’s creator and key songwriter Rusty Goodman, shaped the Goodman Revival with her hubby manufacturer Michael Sykes and vocalist Johnny Minick, also a previous Goodman Family members bandmember. A video from the three performers executing the Rusty Goodman-penned ’60s traditional “Until You’ve Known the Like of God” at Minick’s Smyrna, Tennessee cathedral in early 2013 present its method to YouTube, prompting fascination with the group who after that began performing frequently jointly. Revisiting the traditional songs and nation gospel sound from the Content Goodman Family members, the trio released their debut, Tracks in the main element of Content, in January 2015.
