Golgotha

Not to end up being confused with the U.K.-structured Golgotha, this Spanish death/doom ensemble was founded in 1992 by guitarist Vincent J. Paya and released many rather average produces with the Repulse label, including 1994’s Caves of Brain EP, 1995’s Melancholy full-length, 1997’s JUST HOW of Dilemma EP, and 1998’s Elemental Adjustments album, before silently grinding to some halt. Widespread open public indifference couldn’t prevent Paya from ultimately reviving the group, nevertheless, and he also confident Avulsed’s Dave Rotten to lead program vocals to 2005’s NEW LEASE OF LIFE LP.
