Of all side tasks that eclectic rocker Pete Krebs has lent his abilities to, Golden Mouth watering is the one which would probably shock most fans only acquainted with his other function. Made up of a lineup including, at different moments, Krebs on electric guitar, Kevin Richey on banjo, Paul Bassett on washboard, Marilee Hord on fiddle, Jesse Spero on drums, and David Reisch of Holy Modal Rounder popularity on bass, Golden Mouth watering craft old-time nation music using a punk rock and roll energy along with a somewhat irreverent attitude. Though not really a traditional bluegrass music group at all, with drums, guitar, and the lack of a mandolin causeing this to be distinction, the initial spirit from the music is basically preserved, though frequently with somewhat tongue-in-cheek undertones. 1997’s Aged College was a powerful jolt of recently organized traditionals and fiery originals that added up to good quantity of toe-tapping fun. 1998 noticed the discharge of Cavity Search, a divide nine-song assortment of five Golden Mouth watering and four single Krebs paths, two which would find yourself on his exceptional Lovely Ona Rose.
