Biography
The Golden Kids is really a vocal quartet formed by brothers Roberto Correia José Maria, Ronaldo Correia José Maria, and Renato Correia José Maria (siblings from the members from the Trio Esperança) along with a cousin, Valdir Anunciação. They began their profession in 1958 if they documented their 1st LP, which got the strike “Meu Love com Laura.” Departing for some national trips for all of those other decade, within the ’60s they performed in Uruguay for just two months. Recording many albums for the reason that decade, that they had strikes with “Michelle,” “Se European union Fosse Você,” “Andança,” “Mágoa,” “Pensando Nela,” and “O Cabeção,” amongst others. In addition they toured with the U.S., Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, along with other countries. In 1971, Renato became a maker and remaining the group, which continued to be a trio. The brothers possess written (only or collectively) several strikes documented by additional interpreters, like Roberto Carlos (“É Papo Firme,” “Não Precisas Chorar”) and Evinha (“Casaco Marrom”). Renato also had written the soundtrack towards the film Juventude e Ternura, starring Roberto Carlos and Wanderléa.
