Gold Lake

A Brooklyn-based desire pop outfit having a knack for pairing breezy, vintage Laurel Canyon-inspired Western Coastline retro-pop with moody, contemporary shoegaze, Platinum Lake started in Spain in ’09 2009, when vocalist Lua Rios and guitarist Carlo Del Amo met at a Madrid night time golf club. After relocating towards the bustling indie pop borough of Brooklyn, the duo was became a member of by drummer Dave Burnett, and started creating a local buzz. Documented at La Cabaña studios in Madrid, made by the group, and combined by Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, the Walkmen, Dad John Misty), Years, the band’s debut lengthy player, premiered in November 2014 via Outdoors Music.
