Pop singer Gogi Offer was born in Sept 20, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pa, and scored among 1956’s biggest strikes with the melody “The Wayward Blowing wind.” Exactly the same calendar year, Offer was voted MOST WIDELY USED Feminine Vocalist by Billboard newspaper. But despite all of the accolades, Offer was struggling to follow-up her lone strike despite launching five albums within a two-year period, between 1957 and 1959.
