Goblin Rebirth came collectively in 2015, inspired by (and partially formed by people of) Goblin, the Italian progressive rock-band that recorded nearly all their music for horror film soundtracks — many with movie director Dario Argento. The group shaped around unique Goblin bassist Fabio Pignatelli and middle-’70s-era-and-beyond drummer Agostino Marangolo, along with Aidan Zammit, Danilo Cherni, and Giacomo Anselmi. The quintet inked a cope with Relapse Information and released a 2015 eponymous recording of new materials.
