Gob

A punk revival quartet from Vancouver, Gob was shaped in 1994. Immediately after, Tom Thacker (guitars/vocals), Theo Goutzinakis (guitars/vocals), Craig Solid wood (bass), and Gabe Mantle (drums) released their debut recording, Too Late…Zero Friends. Furthermore to several break up releases with additional Canadian punk rings, the band documented the full-length WHAT LENGTHS Shallow GOES in 1998; it had been reissued within the U.S. the next year. THE ENTIRE WORLD Based on Gob made an appearance in early 2001. But despite their prolific result, a big Canadian following, several appearances around the Vans Warped Tour, and their dynamic, hyperactive hooks, it wasn’t until fellow Canadian pop-punks Amount 41 required Gob from tour together that things actually began to happen stateside. That publicity led to an effective label display for L.A. Reid’s Arista imprint, and shortly the boys discovered themselves within the studio room with Tag Trombino, who got created such like-sounding groupings as blink-182 and Jimmy Eat Globe. The F.U. EP made an appearance in early 2003 being a precursor towards the full-length Feet in Mouth area Disease, which found its way to April of this year. Following release of the correct Arista full-length, Gob embarked on a three-month tour starting for fellow Canadian/Arista musician Avril Lavigne.
