The spunky and aggressive pop-punk sounds of Go Betty Go first blasted away from a Glendale, CA, garage area in 2001. Sisters Nicolette and Aixa Vilar (business lead vocals and drums, respectively), guitarist Betty Cisneros, and bassist Michelle Rangel gigged hard around the region and started turning mind in both Latin community and L.A. rock and roll scene. Proceed Betty Proceed inked a cope with SideOneDummy Information in nov 2003, and their debut EP, Most severe Enemy, was released the following springtime. They toured apparently nonstop everywhere behind it before getting into the studio room with maker Ted Hutt (Flogging Molly) to lay out a full-length recording. The producing record, THERE IS NOTHING More, premiered in Sept 2005, however when Proceed Betty Proceed suddenly canceled the finish of their assisting tour, rumors started to circulate that these were splitting up. Though that had not been the situation, Nicolette did eventually leave the band’s rates in early 2006 and the rest of the gals discovered her alternative by Might in new business lead vocalist Emily Wynne-Hughes.
