Poetic, poignant, and psychologically stirring, MC, producer, bassist, and drummer gNotes (pronounced just as “records”) was powered to create music from the explosion of grunge in the first ’90s while developing up in Seattle. Given birth to Sean Dwyer, the talented musician 1st began playing classical guitar when he was a decade old, consequently adding bass and drums to his repertoire as he became a member of numerous punk and garage area rings throughout middle and senior high school. Hip-hop became his favored choice for musical manifestation, however, when G-funk was ushered in to the pop mainstream by its architect, and among Dwyer’s affects, Dr. Dre. Round the change of the brand new millennium, Dwyer proceeded to go off to Boston University initially to try out football. Strongly planting himself in the neighborhood hip-hop and spoken term moments, he became interested in going after music and books, graduating in 2004 having a level in education. During his older 12 months, he crossed pathways with another college student, Canyon Cody, who was simply looking for an up-and-coming documenting artist to start out up an archive label, and nearly immediately both setup Gnawledge Information. The label’s 1st release, Damaged Spoke (2004), was gNotes’ debut recording, which he released under his actual name. Playing live bass and drums while still showcasing his abilities around the MPC, he reappeared in 2006 using the instrumental function Inthrumental, accompanied by the more correct LP, Rhymes and Beats, in 2007.
