Atlanta, GA’s Gnostic formed in 2005 and their excruciatingly organic, courageously experimental make of loss of life metal bears greater than a passing resemblance compared to that of ’90s loss of life/jazz pioneers Atheist, which is understandable considering that the two rings share three music artists (and a not-so-subtle connection by method of their monikers). They are drummer Steve Flynn, who was simply an associate of Atheist’s initial formation aswell as its lately reunited, past due-’00s touring lineup, plus guitarists Sonny Carson and Chris Baker, both of these fresh millennium touring recruits. And as well as vocalist Kevin Freeman and bassist Stephen Morley (companions in criminal offense with AOS and Caustic Idea), they collaborated on a set of 2005 and 2006 demos before acquiring a cope with Time of year of Mist and liberating Gnostic’s 2009 debut, Executive the Rule.
