Gluecifer

Scandinavian cock rock and roll combo Gluecifer was shaped in Oslo, Norway, in 1994 by frontman Biff Malibu, guitarists Captain Poon and Sinduru Khan, bassist Jon Typical, and drummer Glueros Hellfire. Debuting the next year using the solitary “God’s Chosen Seller,” in 1996 Gluecifer came back using the 12″ Dick Disguised as Pussy; swapping Khan and Hellfire for guitarist Raldo Worthless and drummer Danny Teen, in 1997 the group released its initial full-length work, the Light Jazz label discharge Ridin’ the Tiger. Some rapid-fire singles including “Dambuster,” “Set Seat,” “Shitty Town,” “Lard Ass Hagan,” and “Have the Horn” preceded the 1998 discharge of the next Gluecifer LP, Soaring with Eagles during the night to go up with Pigs each day. Yet even more 7″s preserved the band’s profile during 1999 (including “THE ENTIRE YEAR of Manly Living,” “DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY Guy,” and “Obtain That Psycho Away from My Encounter”), and in early 2000 they released the EP Have the Horn on American indie Sub Pop. The full-length Sensitive May be the Savage implemented that summer months, and General Says Hell Yeah in fall 2000. The group was pretty noiseless until 2003 if they released a string of singles and Cellar Apes. Their following album implemented quickly, 2004’s Auto Thrill, however the band split up one year afterwards.
