Glories certainly are a five-piece instrumental post-rock outfit based out of Birmingham, Alabama. Shaped in 2011 by drummer Adam Blevins, keyboardist Brandon C. Jones, bassist Eric Kimbrell, and guitarists Dallas Kelley and Zach Cooner, they created a sprawling, slow-building audio in the vein of performers like Explosions in the Sky and Caspian. They released their debut record, Mom Reverb, in 2013, implemented two years afterwards with the follow-up LP Place the Beast Out of Brain.
