Glodean Light was the lead singer of Barry White’s feminine protegée trio Like Unlimited, who could be noticed on White’s precious metal and platinum strikes, aswell as those with the Like Unlimited Orchestra. The group’s two biggest strikes were the precious metal single “Walkin’ in the torrential rain (With the main one I REALLY LIKE)” as well as the majestic ballad “I Participate in You.” Consuming Like Unlimited was accredited yellow metal and peaked at number 3 pop in past due 1973. Glodean Wayne and her sister Linda had been created in Long Seaside, CA, but was raised in San Pedro, CA. The sisters honed their vocal abilities by performing in the chapel choir. The few documented a 1981 duet record, Barry & Glodean, within a processing/distribution deal Light acquired with CBS Information for his Unlimited Silver label. The LP acquired two charting singles, “Didn’t We MAKE IT WORK Baby” and “I’D LIKE You.” Glodean White’s history vocals could be noticed on Barry White’s 1999 Personal Music/Windham Hill/BMG record Staying Power. Like Unlimited: Insights on Lifestyle and Like is the name of Barry White’s autobiography created with Marc Elliot, released by Broadway Books in Oct 1999.
