One of the groupings to emerge from London’s choice scene of the first 70s, the Global Community Trucking Company found country wide prominence in 1973. The line-up was liquid, nonetheless it was Jon Owen (electric guitar/vocals), Jimmy Lascelles (keyboards), Mike Medora (harmonica, electric guitar, vocals), John McKenzie (bass) and Simon Stewart (drums) who highlighted over the ‘advantage’ release, Oily Truckers Live At Dingwalls Dance Hall. 3 years afterwards the music group was augmented by Peter Kitley (electric guitar), Jim Cuomo (saxophone), Jeremy Lacalles (percussion) and vocalists Caromay Dixon and Monica Garelts for the Global Community Trucking Firm.
