Glenn Phillips

Instrumental rock guitarist Glenn Phillips was raised in Brand-new England and relocated along with his family to Atlanta, GA, when he was 12 in 1962. At 16, he started playing guitar, with 17 he co-founded the Hampton Grease Band, also offering vocalist Bruce Hampton and guitarist Harold Kelling, which developed a pursuing around Atlanta, culminating inside a agreement with Columbia Information and the launch from the double-LP Music to consume in 1971. Scratched with the Rabbit arrived on ESD in 1990, and ESD released the double-CD compilation Echoes 1975-85 in 1992. Phillips following released Strolling Through Wall space on Brendan O’Brien’s Shotput label in 1996, after that remained silent before March 2003 discharge of Angel Sparks on Gaff.
