Starting out because the bassist and lead vocalist for English hard rockers Trapeze (which developed from British soulsters the news headlines) in 1969, Glenn Hughes accomplished his greatest fame because the bass player of Deep Crimson from 1974 before group divided in 1976. Hughes eventually reconvened Trapeze (without records ensuing) and released his single debut, Play Me Out, in 1978.
