Glen Neaves

Glen Neaves began performing fiddle in 1919, at age nine–his father played clawhammer-style banjo, but Glen under no circumstances took compared to that instrument or technique. His musical function model was G. B. Grayson, a famous traditional fiddle participant who lived close by, who was popular enough to possess gotten a talk about in “The Ballad of Tom Dooley.” Neaves performed in a far more contemporary design of bluegrass than the majority of his competitors, and prevented playing lots of the even more familiar breakdowns common to rings in his personal period.
