Glenhope “Glen” Dark brown began his music career like a vocalist and Augustus Pablo-influenced melodeon participant, recording solo paths and singing tranquility on tracks made by Prince Buster, Sir Coxsone Dodd, Leslie Kong, Derrick Herriot. His biggest success has arrive as the creator and owner of his reggae and dub brands, Pantomine and South East Music, as well as the maker of paths by U Roy, Gregory Isaacs, Big Youngsters, Prince Jazzbo, Johnny Clarke and Small Roy. The weighty rhythms of his dub paths led to his being referred to as “The tempo get better at” While insufficient funds led to his early recordings primarily limited to a hundred copies, they’ve become significantly available. Tunes documented between 1969 and 1976 had been reissued for the 1995 recording, “THE BEST WAY TO Mt. Zion”, while paths recorded with Ruler Tubby between 1973 and 1979 had been compiled over the 1996 collection, “Termination Dub”. Presently residing in NY, Brown remains energetic being a songwriter and manufacturer. In 2000 Little Axe and Terminal Mind remixed Brown’s function for an individual discharge that included remixes of fellow reggae musician, Yabby You.
