Grandson of the Portuguese poet, vocalist and guitarist Dan Sena started Offer Until Gone with bassist Jim Schwartz in 1997. Guitarist Jamie Cechin and drummer Jason Welsher became a member of and the music group documented their debut EP, and then find out by their label that there is no money for the CD edition. Impressed by Provide Until Gone’s heart-wrenching music sung over crunching guitars, California label Dim Mak stepped in and agreed upon the music group. After Whatever Functions premiered, Keith Divel (Stickfigurecarousel) emerged in as the brand new second guitarist. This lineup made an appearance on what will be the group’s just LP, Resolved for the Artwork Public, released in the springtime of 2000. Matt Horowitz after that stepped in on drums and Tommy Coatney afterwards joined on electric guitar. The ultimate lineup lasted for approximately a season before Provide Until Gone known as it quits in July 2001.
