Giuseppe Gonelli

A composer, organist and instructor Gonelli became the expert from the chapel at Cremona Cathedral after 1708. He was lauded for his contrapuntal capabilities and his body organ compositions indicate a solid influence from the galant design. They were seen as a short motifs and moving, elegant strains. Structure types included sacred people and six sonatas.
