Giuseppe Giacosa

Giuseppe Giacosa was an effective Italian dramatic poet whose popularity chiefly rests on his operatic partnerships with Puccini. Along with Luigi Illica, Giacosa composed the librettos of La bohème (1896), Tosca (1900), and Madama Butterfly (1904). He previously a law level from the School of Turin and was employed in his father’s lawyer when his has began to gain interest.
