Gisburg

Vocalist and composer Gisburg was created in Salzberg, Austria in 1966. She examined flute there before shifting to Berlin in 1985. Whilst in Berlin, Gisburg acquired a vocal duo (Alliin Gaa) with Anna Clenti, and performed in Dieter Schnebel’s ensemble. She transferred to NY in 1992, and since that time, spent some time working with Anthony Coleman and Roy Nathanson for the Knitting Stock label, with cellist Michelle Kinney. Gisburg also offers three releases being a head on Tzadik because the mid-90s; the very first two are contacted as ‘imaginary film music, ‘ and the 3rd, Trust (1999), includes a solo vocal function.
