The Belfast, Ireland group Young ladies Names formed in ’09 2009, initially being a duo comprising guitarist/vocalist Cathal Cully and novice drummer Neil Brogan. They began with a loud audio that nodded to old-school indie pop serves like Beat Taking place, Field Mice, and Josef K. Bassist Claire Miskimmin, whom Cully acquired to teach the fundamentals of her device before she became a member of, was induced board being a full-fledged person in Girls Names the next year. Girls Brands’ demos had been released on cassette tape over the Belfast-based label Cass/Flick immediately after they produced, and their initial mini-album, YOU HAVE TO KNOW by Now, premiered on Tough Appreciate in the springtime of 2010. A 12″ EP on Captured Monitors, DON’T ALLOW Me In, implemented immediately after. The music group agreed upon to Slumberland and early in 2011 released their debut record Dead if you ask me. After launching a split one with the music group Strange Dreams in 2012, they added another guitarist, Phil Quinn from the music group Charles Hurts, towards the lineup and started working on a fresh record. The first one, the almost eight-minute-long “THE BRAND NEW Lifestyle” (using a remix by J.D. Twitch of Optimo over the B-side),” signaled a big change to a far more expansive, post-punk inspired sound. Their second record, The New Lifestyle, premiered in early 2013 by Challenging Appreciate in the U.K. and Slumberland in the U.S. Immediately after the record, Brogan still left the music group and was changed by Gib Cassidy of Logikparty. Following the tour for NEW LEASE OF LIFE ended, the music group decamped for an isolated cottage for weekly to write another record. After even more touring and honing of materials, they strike the studio room in a far more experimental feeling. Their third recording, Hands Around A Eyesight, reflected this fresh outlook, presenting a far more powerful post-punk approach. It had been released by Hard Love in Oct of 2015.
