Giovanni Maria Trabaci

Giovanni Maria Trabaci was an organist and highly prolific composer whose key pad works were before their period, bridging the distance between the past due Renaissance and the first Baroque. He was created in 1575 and in 1594 was appointed a tenor vocalist in Naples in the chapel of SS Annunziata. Nothing at all about his existence in the intervening years is well known. In 1601, he arrived to the service from the Spanish viceroys in Naples as primary organist in the royal chapel; when their maestro di cappella Giovanni de Macque passed away in 1614, Trabaci increased to that placement and continued to be there until his personal loss of life in 1647. He also offered the Capoa di Balzo family members from 1603-1611, and devoted his first level of key pad music (1603) to them, “in whose home the splendour of music shines brightly.” Trabaci’s music ranged across a lot of the designs and genres after that current in Rome, both secular and sacred.
