Giovanni Antonio Piani

Piani studied the violin in the Conservatorio della Pieta dei Turchini and served the Admiral from the People from france Fleet in Toulouse, and in the imperial courtroom in Vienna. While in Toulouse he released six violin sonatas for just two violins and continuo and six sonatas for flute or violin with continuo. The key areas of these compositions will be the copious information he scribed for these functions including powerful markings, fingering, bowing and embellishments.
