Giorgio Zancanaro

Giorgio Zancanaro has already established a solid Euro career despite an entire insufficient formal schooling. He was a policeman when he started singing. His main assignments are Rigoletto, Escamillo (Carmen), Germont Pére (Traviata), Enrico Ashton (Lucia di Lammermoor), the Great Priest (Samson et Dalila) and Renato in Un ballo in Maschera. He was especially known for his Verdi assignments, as well as for EMI documented Rigoletto, Attila, La Forze del Destino, and Les Vepres Siciliennes.
