Gideon

Having a sound that evokes the no-holds-barred, mosh pit-destroying hardcore of Earthmover and Snapcase, Gideon breathe new lease of life in to the lurching hardcore sound from the past due ’90s. Shaped in 2008 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the music group — offering Daniel McWhorter (vocals), Daniel McCartney (acoustic guitar), Blake Hardman (electric guitar), Timmy Naugher (bass), and Jake Smelley (drums) — brings a newfound strength to that traditional, lurching early Success Information chug and kicks it into high equipment. With the ideal quantity of gang vocals to equalize the whole lot out, it’s no real surprise that Gideon grabbed the interest of Facedown Information, who agreed upon them in 2011 and released their record Costs afterwards that calendar year. Their sophomore work, Milestone, followed over the label in 2012. The music group caused prominent metal manufacturer Will Putney on the third record, 2014’s hard-hitting Calloused, and in 2017 Gideon produced the move from Facedown to Identical Eyesight and released their 4th studio long-player, Frosty.
