Gianni Dall’Aglio is among Italy’s best jazz-rock drummers. A longtime person in of Italian rock and roll group I Ribelli, he was also an associate of supergroup studio room music group Il Volo in the first ’70s. The group, which also included Alberto Radius (electric guitar, vocals), Mario Lavezzi (electric guitar, mandolin, vocals), Vince Tempera (keyboards), Gabriele Lorenzi (keyboards), and Bob Callero (bass), documented two unforgettable albums — Il Volo in 1974 and Essere On Non Essere? in 1975 — before disbanding. Dall’Aglio and his orchestra possess continued to execute at music celebrations throughout Italy.
