Seattle-based Christian origins rock act Ghost Ship had been shaped in 2008 by Georgia indigenous Cam Huxford. Using their thick, acoustic-based appear and folk-pop visual, the seven-piece group quickly became worship market leaders at Seattle’s huge Mars Hill Chapel. In 2011, they released their debut four-song EP, A River without End, within the church’s in-house label Mars Hill Music. A full-length ten-song concert recording called Ghost Dispatch Live appeared soon afterward. In 2013, the group authorized with Teeth & Toenail imprint BEC Recordings release a their first studio room LP, THE NICE King. The recording was well received critically, and increased into the Best 30 on Billboard’s Christian and Heatseeker graphs.
