Ghetto Concept

Kwajo Boateng and partner L “Dolo” Frazer originated from Rexdale, Ontario, a ward-community deep within the center of Toronto. Jointly, they produced the rap duo Ghetto Concept and created a slew of separately distributed recordings on vinyl fabric and cassette. They gained their initial Juno Prize in 1994 for the separately released one “Authorized Dope.” The next season they released “E-Z on tha Movement,” earning the 1995 Juno Award. Without major-label support, these indie rappers released a self-titled, full-length in past due 1998 independently 7 Expenses Entertainment label.
