Get Dead

Using their straightforward, acoustic-based undertake punk rock, SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA five-piece Get Dead formed in 2007. Guitarists Mike McGuire and Moki Noodlez, bassist Tim Mehew, drummer Scott Powell, and vocalist Sam Ruler signed to Body fat Wreck Chords for Obtain Dead’s debut record, 2013’s Bad Information. While their propensity to pull from Irish folk and their stripped-down audio were unique towards the label, their gritty, punky sensibilities and party-hearty behaviour aptly mirrored those of Chixdiggit!, Swingin’ Utters, NOFX, and so on, producing the D.We.Y. label a very tasty fit.
