Gerold Huber

Gerold Huber is usually a German pianist, frequently heard as an accompanist in vocal recitals and about recordings of lieder. He went to the University or college of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, learning piano with Friedemann Berger and vocal accompaniment with Helmut Deutsch. He’s most widely known for his shows with baritone Christian Gerhaher, with whom he has already established an extended association, though he in addition has followed soprano Ruth Ziesak, bass Franz-Josef Selig, mezzo-soprano Bernarda Fink, soprano Diana Damrau, and mezzo-soprano Cornelia Kallisch.
