Having written a lot more than 200 tunes by Wagner Tiso, Francis Hime, Astor Piazzola (ten tunes, included in this “As Ilhas” and “Muralha da China”), and Egberto Gismonti (having also created many of his LPs), Geraldo Carneiro has already established his productions documented by Michel Legrand, Tom Jobim, Ney Matogrosso, Olivia Byington, Vinicius de Moraes, A Barca perform Sol, and Airto Moreira. Many variations of his tunes in additional idioms have already been released overseas and he’s also an granted author of books, chronicles and poems, performs, an opera (Manu Çaruê, music by Wagner Tiso), film scripts, and a Television series.
