George Cates

b. 19 Oct 1911, NEW YORK, NY, USA, d. 10 Might 2002, LA, California, USA. A composer, arranger, conductor and record manufacturer, Cates was informed at NY University. He visited work for humor group Olsen and Johnson, organizing music because of their revue Hellazpoppin, and in addition proved helpful for big rings led by Henry Busse, Dick Stabile and Russ Morgan.
