Georg Dietrich Leiding

Leiding demonstrated early an capability for music. He could study body organ with Bolsche in Brunswick near his house in Bucken. After learning with Bolsche he also researched with Reincken and Buxtehude. He proved helpful as the replacement for Bolsche prior to the later’s loss of life and stuffed Bolsche’s placement after Bolsche passed away. Accordingly, Leiding kept two oragn positions at St Ulrich and St Magnus. Noted for his body organ compositions, just five of his functions are extant including three preludes. Pedal virtuosity was the sign of Leiding’s compositions.
