Mitch “General Kane” McDowell produced a little sound for Motown in the later ’80s. But following the strike “Split Killed Applejack,” the follow-up, “Gal Pulled your dog,” didn’t generate very much interest. General Kane got very much exposure for a few very critical responses he made about the obsession of some Urban Modern artists.
