Gelson Oliveira

Past craftsman Brazilian troubadour Gelson Oliveira got mixed up in local metropolitan music picture by joining different rings within the weekends, and he was soon taking part in celebrations around Porto Alegre. In 1983, his first recording, called Terra, premiered, accompanied by Imagen Das Pedras, which presented “Pimenta,” documented along with Gilberto Gil. Furthermore, Oliveira became a member of a project known as Canta Lupi, executing Lupicínio Rodrigues’ music and taking part in Nelson Coelho’s Juntos, Forca De Agua, and Renato Borhetti’s Esse Tal De Borghetinho. In 1995, Gelson Oliveira began touring Europe to market Julio Rizzo e Gelson Oliveira.
