Gayngs

Atmospheric, 69 bpm-obsessed dance-pop collective Gayngs craft impeccably rendered, R&B-infused electro-indie pop built upon a base inspired by even and quirky British art rock and roll outfit 10cc. Produced in 2008 by Minneapolis-based manufacturer/songwriter Ryan Olson, along with Solid Silver members Jack port Coulter and Adam Hurlburt, Gayngs had been barely a trio, as over 25 performers chose to take part, including Joe Westerlund, Brad Make, and Phil Make from North Carolina’s Megafun, Ivan Howard from the Rosebuds, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Mike Noyce, and Rhymesayers rapper P.O.S., merely to name several. The music group’s debut record, Relayted, found its way to 2010 on Jagjaguwar Information.
