Hailing from Lafayette, Colorado, Gauntlet Hair may be the task of Andy R. and Craig Wonderful, who began producing music together if they had been 15. The pair’s moving, epic avant pop triggered a stir this year 2010 also before they released their initial single, drawing advantageous evaluations to Yeasayer, Pet Collective, Surfer Bloodstream, and Interest Pit. After other brief releases, like the Mexican Summertime select, Don’t/Heave, Gauntlet Locks released their self-titled debut record on Deceased Oceans in Oct 2011. The sophomore record Stills premiered in 2013, and discovered the duo sketching from ’80s goth and substitute rock influences.
